“The Club” is a Brazilian series which was released in 2020. It is about the nightlife in Lisbon, Portugal, where sensuality and sex mingle with the politics, bouncers, business, and glamour, and follows the story of three characters: the bouncer, the owner (Michele interpreted by Luana Piovani), and a young girl (Diana interpreted by Mariana Pacheco). Visited by politicians, businessmen, artists, and football players, it invests in exclusivity and secrecy. It’s a family-run business, managed the old way, which provides its customers with beautiful, sophisticated, available, and expensive women.

It has 5 season, but  I have only watched a few episodes in season 5, which I could find with English subtitles.

I was interested in Michele and Diana’s story, an age gap lesbian romance.

Diana is the young girl who joins the club and instead on fancing the customer she fances the boss, Michele, who has retired and only runs the club. Their attraction makes your blood boil. With few words they are on to each other and even when Michele visualizes their lovemaking, she speaks a towsands words and shows milions of emotions without actually saying a word, but through her gestures.

I loved their back and forths and Michele’s jealousy and how Diana never gives up. She has a good reason for it.

Their story has a happy ending.  

I enjoyed very much both Luana Piovani and Mariana Pacheco, they’ve played their parts perfectly.

I love Brazilians, they’re si passionate and emotional!
